Young Innovation and Veteran Experience — an Oxymoron?

Sunday March 13th, 2011

"One of the virtues of being very young is that you don't let the facts get in the way of your imagination." -Sam Levenson

Below is a video that portrays what the future may hold; one that some people anticipate and others disregard or fear. Do not underestimate this potential demographic for although they are young, they are bold and born into technology, have astronomical market influence already at a tender age (via their parents and caregivers), and a global voice through social media and mobile, which spreads like wildfire.

Soon enough, these youths will be the audience. In some countries, they are learning how to write business plans for start-ups and new product development, and several are already being funded by investors. Will the message be this bold? No one knows for sure. What is evident is that organizations need to start thinking out-of-the-box with regard to marketing, no matter who their audience is.

When coupled with seasoned experience and new innovation, this young generation is more powerful than we can imagine. It is an era of movers and shakers as we have never seen before.
